A unique experimental unit comprised of three creative members: Axis Intact (the Lucid Silverback), Blood (the Broken Bird), and Crooked Frame (the Mole).Originally solidified in the summer of 98 at Crooked Frame's Sweatbox in Brooklyn NY and evolving from 4-track recording to digital, this union (PSI: The Poetic Sages Illuminated) has engaged in a sort of non-local musical integration resulting from each individual's isolated location in a different state. Constantly challenging each member's abilities, and more so perseverance, this wyrd association has consistently produced novel works while developing intentionality and technical proficiency.To date, they have completed 5 full-length releases ("Hipgnosis is..." 2001, "Brave New Frontier" 2003, "PSIngularity" 2005, "Crooked Street" 2006, and the newly completed "PSImbiosis" 2009) with solo projects from each creative artist including "Toltechnically Speaking" by Axis Intact, and "Bird in a Circle" by Blood. The latest release, PSImbiosis 2009 is a novel musical collaboration with Maine-based Electrojazzdance group, Dreamosaic.
